Hannah Waddingham wasn’t the only star to walk the red carpet at the BAFTA TV Awards, of course. Let’s judge some of the others!
Eleanor Tomlinson in Marchesa
It’s got a dark prettiness that probably calls for more goth in the styling. Don’t love that waist seam.
Elizabeth Debicki in Armani Privé
It’s strangely eye-catching and we feel like it might have worked better with her hair up. The necklace is interesting.
Harriet Walter in Suzannah London
This is gorgeous.
Helena Bonham Carter
It’s very much in her range of preferences, but she’s extremely overdue for a style overhaul. This looks mumsy and unflattering on her.
Jeff Goldblum
Always delivers.
Jessica Gunning and Richard Gadd
If anyone deserves a glamour moment right now, it’s her. She looks amazing. We don’t love all of the pleating, but the drape and fit are great.
Kristin Scott Thomas
The neckline, the sleeve length, the hem length and the shoes all add up to one dowdy look. You deserve better, ma’am.
Lashana Lynch in 16Arlington
The color, the shape, the neckline – none of it does a thing for her and the lack of styling isn’t helping.
Lesley Manville in Loewe
We were somewhat alone in liking this design when Aubrey Plaza wore it to the Emmys, but we wonder if it’ll get more supporters in this color on this wearer. She looks great.
Michelle Visage
As always, the drag is world-class, but this time, the dress is kind of disappointing.
