Okay, we lied. Some words: Nicole Kidman picked up a Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Film Institute over the weekend. She defiantly refused to show up looking like her best work was behind her. After a decade-and-a-half of covering her, we feel pretty secure in suggesting that this is the best she’s looked on a red carpet in decades. And it’s not like she spent a lot of that time looking bad on red carpets. What a spectacular gown.
