Okay, after the po-faced seriousness of the previous post, we feel like it’s time to show you something a weensy bit ridiculous. Lucy Boynton, star of The Greatest Hits? That’s your cue, dear. Go out and be ridiculous for the folks.
Attagirl. Kristen Stewart recently tried to make that lower half work for her and we didn’t think her punk-butch vibe was right for it. Look, nothing is right for this combo, but if you’re going to attempt it, then a certain level of whimsy is probably called for. She’s better suited to it than Stewart was and the jacket lends it the silliness it deserves. That’s not to say we love this. From a purely visual perspective, it comes off incredibly top-heavy. In both cases, we think the tights would look better without that flimsy excuse of a skirt. The black sandals look awful with them. Having said all that, she’s the right girl to try it.
