We suppose we’re at the “Doesn’t she look great?” portion of our Emmys red carpet commentary. Most of the disasters and triumphs have been discussed and we’re just cycling through the looks that look nice but probably won’t inspire much more commentary than that. Miss Hannah? That’s your cue.
IN MARCHESA AT THE EMMY AWARDS
It’s notable that Marchesa’s on an Emmys red carpet. The once ubiquitous red carpet brand took a huge fall from favor after designer Georgina Chapman’s now-former husband Harvey Weinstein wound up paying the piper for all of his sins. It’s never really found its way back. Having said that, this is a good showing. It’s not the freshest design in the world but it couldn’t suit the wearer any better – especially since she asked the house to make a dress to match her eyes. We don’t love the color, but the fit is spectacular.
