We thought you could use a nice change of break from all of the red carpetry being thrown at you, so here’s Mean Girls star Tina Fey, working a more casual sort of promo look on The Tonight Show.

These Pierrot-style looks can be so hit or miss, but we honestly really like this one. Maybe it’s because it pops so much on screen or maybe it’s because it’s well suited to her. We think it’s both of those plus the fact that it’s extremely simple in design; so simple that it would be deadly dull without the alternating colors. Would it have been too gimmicky for her to wear one white shoe and one black one? We’re seriously asking.
