Because we need a break from all of the heavy red carpetry we’ve been slinging at you today and because we’re kind of sad that the excellent Fellow Travelers isn’t getting talked about all that much. Also, because we’ll take any opportunity to direct you to our exhaustive recaps. But mostly because it’s not a bad look, here’s Allison Williams, wearing the wrong footwear on her way into the Tamron Hall Show studios:
It’s a plain, but elegant day dress that absolutely does not call for booties in any way. Given the lightness of the skirt, sandals wouldn’t be out of the question but since it’s December in New York, a pair of pumps’ll do you fine. We also think the scarf needs to go but we’ve always kind of hated neck scarves paired with dresses. But the color looks great on her and she’s capable of working a style like this without coming off sister-wife.
