Rare is the occasion when we get to check out Adele on a red carpet, but she was one of the honorees at The Hollywood Reporter’s Women in Entertainment Gala so she made the trip and made the effort this time. Instead of going her usual over-the-top diva route, she chose to do a little high fashion spin on a high-powered lady executive.
Actually, that’s way more of a zoot suit than a business suit, which makes it more fun and a lot more appropriate for her. Sure, Adele is technically allowed to wear plain pants suits, by why would she when there are so many fun ones out there? We love this for her, although we think it comes off a little slouchier than it should. Some better tailoring would’ve been a help. As always with Adele, the jewelry is gorgeous.
