And by “it,” we mean our year-long wish and plea that Barbie star Margot Robbie save some of the high-end eleganza cosplay for awards season. We’re not Barbie experts, nor did we immediately clock the reference that this is a pretty faithful high fashion recreation of 1964’s “Black Magic” Barbie:

But we know Barbie fashion when we see it and we immediately headed to her stylist Andrew Mukamal’s Instagram for the details. Tapping Prada for this particular look was smart, because the brand aesthetic tends to favor clean, classic mid-century fashion. We really love the detail of the trim on the edges of the cape. We suspect some of y’all won’t like the leather gloves, but we think they add just a little edge and modernity to it. She looks gorgeous. Of all her Barbie tour looks, this is Top Five at least.
