Darlings, the good news for us is that talk shows are back on the air. The even better news for us is that celebrities are ready and eager to show up in goofy outfits.
She looks like a children’s show host who’s about to ask us all to sit criss-cross applesauce while she reads a book to us about a magic talking household object. This is not a bad vibe in any way. In fact, we’d say it suits her terrifically. The shoes are a mismatch, but the skirt is legitimately cute.
Of course it’s an outfit with a message, as she’s celebrating and promoting the 25th anniversary of her nonprofit for low-income parents, Room to Grow. As it was with Chris Pine’s puppy-supporting Lothario look, we are compelled to refrain from being bitchy about her style here. It’s for a good cause and like we said, it suits her surprisingly well.
