A bevy of stars came out in New York last night to support the God’s Love We Deliver charity, which provides medically tailored meals for people with chronic or other serious illnesses. Michael Kors, a huge supporter of the charity, hosted the event and provided the fashion goods for those attendees who rated a red carpet appearance.
Ashley Park
This is a great style that suits her perfectly and takes a spectacular picture. It’s perfect for the event. Our only issue is with the keyhole, which is a thing we don’t like.
Beanie Feldstein
Low key and elegant. She looks great in it, but we’d have liked an accessory that provided a little sparkle or contrast.
Ben Platt
That’s a classic 3-button ’90s NBA suit and it actually looks better on him than we’d have predicted. The color is rich and subtle and looks great in pictures.
Julianna Margulies
Love it. Elegant, but also no-nonsense in a way that suits her, with just enough dazzle to make it red carpet ready.
Mary J. Blige
Miss Mary J. performed for the occasion and served up her usual level of diva glamour. The coat is fabulous and we LOVE the boots.
Nicole Ari Parker
Another unfortunate keyhole design. It’s a really great dress otherwise and we love the leather trim. If the keyhole had been about half that size, it might have worked better.
Scarlett Johansson
It’s giving Serious Socialite. We guess she didn’t want to come off too frivolous or glamorous. As simple as the design is, we can’t really complain about it any of it. The style looks great on her and the patterned hose and statement ring do a lot to provide some visual interest.
