Y’know, we’re really going to have to give Peter Sarsgaard a lot of credit here.

He knew he’d be standing next to a woman who never fails to come impeccable, with her glamour lamps turned on high beam. His usual rumpled professor look was going to come off terrible next to her uber-glam efforts. While this isn’t our personal favorite sort of male red carpet style – in fact, it’s one of the most boring, in our opinion – it’s still fairly well-polished and presentable. The grooming could be a little better and we’d have liked a tie, but he looks like he tried.

Never fails to bring it. You’re not going to see wild changes in her style from appearance to appearance, like a Swinton, Blanchett or Nyong’o. She’s not a gal who experiments or chases trends. She’s just someone who has very specific ideas about how a movie star should look and what kind of styles work best on her. She’s going to be working this Jessica Rabbit thing for as long as she can and we can’t blame her. Love the harlequin pattern.
