Kim Kardashian wrapped herself up tightly in a totally important Alaïa, put on yet another piece of vintage Chanel jewelry, and stepped out onto the red carpet for migrant family relief organization This Is About Humanity’s fifth annual soiree to show off her new blunt bangs. Given the dearth of red carpetry in the world because of the SAG AFTRA strike, we think any charity with a gala in their immediate future should be tapping every available celebrity they can grab ahold of to step out at these things.
We… have no real problem with any of it? Okay, maybe not entirely true. That turtleneck looks uncomfortable and the witch shoes are really awkward with it. This style of gown will never rank high on our list of faves, and we aren’t entirely convinced any of the accessories coordinate well with it, but it’s not bad at all. The overall look is… well, we’ll be a bit backhanded about it and call it “stylishly inoffensive.” We don’t hate it, but we’d probably have styled it differently. Statement jewelry at the ears, hands and wrists, sandals, no bag.
