Akira Akbar in LoveShackFancy
It’s sweetly cute. Love the sandals.
Anna Cathcart in Adeam
Honey, here’s to you for trying something weird. We can’t say it works at all (it’s an overdesigned mess, we’re sorry to say), but we salute the effort.
It’s got that circa 1981 New Wave vibe and it really suits him.
Meh. It looks a little blandly casual and the cut on the pants is terrible.
Sorry, girl. This isn’t bad, but Alexandra Shipp showed up in a much better version.
She’s styled really well and the shirt is pretty cute, but we can’t with the pants.
Megan Suri in Versace
It’s sharp and it pops in pictures. She looks great in it. We just think the accessories are a bit much, which seems to be something of a theme on this red carpet.
It’s low key and simple, which is how you should approach a youth-themed party if you’re not one of the youths. We just wish the pants and vest looked like they matched.
Can’t argue with one bit of that.
It’s cute. Love the brooch.
Rachel Sennott in Dion Lee
It’s quite the hot little frock, but the operative word here is “little.” It looks like she can barely move in it.
Reneé Rapp in Stella McCartney
We burst out laughing at that horrid skirt. Sorry, girl. You got Stella’d. Think of it as a celebrity rite of passage.
Sabrina Carpenter in The Attico
It looks like lingerie to us, but we can’t say she looks bad in it.
Chic and sharp, with a message of solidarity that we should have seen more of on this red carpet.
Saniyya Sidney in Kate Spade New York
We’d have liked this whole look so much more of she wore it with some shitkicker boots.
Xochitl Gomez in Dion Lee
Almost cute, but wildly overdesigned. Those hip pockets need to go. Also, this would look better in black, which is not a thing we say often.
