The stars came out to mingle and drink Champagne in really cute outfits, darlings. We can think of no better reason to judge them all just a little. In a semi-nice way, we promise. Loving, even. We’re providing a service, really.
Coco Rocha in Christian Siriano
Only a model could make a nearly all-white outfit pop against a mostly white background. This is cute, but we think she’s doing a lot of work to make it sing for the cameras. We don’t like the shoulder treatment at all. The hat and shades are doing a lot of heavy lifting as well.
Danai Gurira in Off-White
That’s a hot party dress that doesn’t quite work with the twee, daytime styling. The hat and shoes are both too heavy for such a barely-there frock.
Emma Stone in Louis Vuitton
We sort of like the top. We really like the skirt. We do not like the top tucked into the skirt.
Jeremy Pope in Alexandre Mattiussi
Great color and silhouette. If we want to be really nitpicky (aside from noting the pulling in the jacket), we would suggest that the white hat doesn’t coordinate perfectly with the black shades and shoes. The necklaces are gorgeous, though.
Karen Gillan in Proenza Schouler
Really cute! And dramatic! Also a little sexy. Really, this dress has it all for a daytime event. It’s clearly not the most practical look for this particular event, but who cares? It takes a great picture and that’s all that matters.
Simone Ashley in Valentino
Also super-cute! We would go so far as to say that this is one of the best looks we’ve ever seen her wear. The sandals give the look just a little edge and modernity.
