Hey, remember when we said a franchise like Mission Impossible tends to call for a fairly basic and straightforward sort of promotional fashion? Well, Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One star Rebecca Ferguson evidently got the memo and said “Oh, fuck that.”

As wild as the styling and embellishments are, we still maintain that the fashion design is somewhat basic and straightforward. It’s a fairly conservative dress by Vivienne Westwood standards; simple, pretty and bridal. We don’t mind the pearl embellishments, but we think they’re a bit overdone. We’ll never truly love the wet hair look and we’re not about to defend it here, but we can at least understand why they went for it. The dress has a sort of waterlogged feel to it. Overall, we can’t say we love this look, but we do find it an interesting set of choices for a premiere like this one.
