We weren’t going to cover this latest Cathy ensemble, from the Order of the Garter service earlier today, because we took one look at it and assumed it was a rewear from last year; specifically the polka dotted Allesandra Rich dress she wore to Ascot in June 2022. We were quite surprised to discover that this is not a rewear, but a near identical outfit.
It seems bizarre to us that she’d wear such a similar dress from the same designer when she tends to get good press for her re-wears. Still, she looks pretty great. The hat’s a bit much, but then again, it’s supposed to be. Look at that monstrosity the Duchess of Edinburgh has on her head. Cathy’s comes off downright restrained in comparison.
