Between this look at CinemaCon and the boldly bright getup she wore on Good Morning America the other day, we have a feeling Miss Melissa will be serving up quite the sassy little wardrobe for the upcoming The Little Mermaid poledance. It’s not that we love every single thing about this look, but we do appreciate how hard she’s going on her fashion choices lately.
It’s definitely interesting and has a point of view to it. It’s not wallflower fashion (no pun intended), but we like it much better in the look book shots – not because a size 2 model is wearing it, and not even because it was originally a dress. It’s the way it’s lined here. The black underdress in the pictures below sets the floral elements off much better. The sheer Swiss dot with the nude lining renders it way too visually busy and causes the floral elements to recede a little. We think it was a great idea to wear it as a top, but we’re not sure the flared pants were the way to go. A slim pant would’ve been our rec.
