The thing about Lizzo is, when she shows up somewhere, she’s going to make good and damn sure that you know she’s there. The lady simply doesn’t recede, no matter how many people wish otherwise.
With the coat on and the hood up, it’s giving Midsommar, although we don’t necessarily think you need to read anything into that allusion about a woman who gives into her own power by rejecting the men around her, especially since Lizzo is walking the red carpet for the first time with her cute boyfriend Myke Wright. No, we think she’s a big pile of flowers because that’s exactly how Lizzo likes to be seen. Big, beautiful and bold. Having said that, we like the look much better when she wears the opera coat open, allowing us to see the dress underneath.
