Much like fellow Golden Globe winner Michelle Yeoh, Angela Bassett secured another trophy on her way to the Oscars, gave a killer acceptance speech, and served up classic elegance and retro glamour like she just woke up that way.
We think it’s a little snug in the midsection and we think a more delicate and more sparkly pair of sandals would have been better choice. Herein ends the quibbles portion of this post. She looks straight up spectacular and she’s not reinventing any wheels, pushing any envelopes or chasing any trends to accomplish that. She looks gorgeous. Love the hair and makeup.
