Noah Centineo cleaned up his act to mark his starring turn in Netflix’s The Recruit. We just can’t help noticing how much spiffier he looks when he’s promoting his own project as compared to a couple of months ago when he was playing second or third fiddle to The Rock on the Black Adam tour and wearing fashion in a much lower key than this:
Granted, the pants are too long and the jacket sleeves are too short, but an attempt was made and that’s what counts here. Still, he strikes us as the kind of guy who thinks getting dressed up means some fairly standard semi-formal suiting, which he wears because he has to not because he wants to. This is all red carpet tea-leaf reading and should be taken with a grain of salt, of course. We just think he looks like he defaults to what he thinks he should be wearing when the spotlight’s on him. It feels a bit too conventional and traditional, which would be fine if he loved dressing this way. All we’re saying here is that we think he could loosen up his style a little. This is nice enough, but it’s very “my cousin’s wedding.”
