Lily Collins is once again out on these cold streets practically forcing you to recognize that the third season of Emily in Paris is on its way. We admire the work, but we hope she takes a rest after this is over and wears sweat pants for an entire month. Anyway, here she is, making one of several stops of the day, this time at the “little Paris” popup in New York. The fashion was low-key. For her, that is.

Mere mortals might consider a chartreuse blouse and a sequined miniskirt with a scalloped edge to be anything but low-key, but celebrities are wired differently. It’s kind of a cute look overall, even if we have quibbles with some of the individual pieces. For one, even she is finding that color hard to pull off. For another, we simply can’t get past our innate dislike of scalloped edges. We can’t help thinking the skirt could use another inch or two on the hem; not because we’re scandalized by the shortness but because you really can’t see it and it should be the centerpiece of the look. The coat is an absolute stunner, though. The buttons are gorgeous. Love the sheer hose and platform ankle-strap combo. It really works for her. Makeup seems a bit harsh, but like we said, she had a busy day of pole-dancing and she probably wasn’t made up for a daylight event.
