Hmm. This presents a bit of a problem for us. On the one hand, The Woman King star Viola Davis looks pretty damn amazing at the Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year party. On the other hand…
Our dislike of fringe is making it difficult for us to call this one a winning look – especially since the fringe is doing the one thing that makes us dislike fringe above all the other aspects of it: it’s laying wrong. Part of the problem with fringe fashion is that, if you care about such things, you’ll often spend the night checking and smoothing your fringe – and often to no avail. That stuff has a mind of its own. Having said that, the fit is fantastic and the fringe actually does look pretty great with those pink touches in it, picked up by her earrings and her (slightly less matchy) bag. Like we said, it’s a great look. It just has that one thing that prevents us from saying so. You do it instead:
