Taylor Swift hit the MTV EMAs red carpet looking like… well, like she wore a bathing suit with a beaded curtain. Might as well spare you the scrolldown shock now.
Did we lie? Was our description somehow lacking? Because that is not what we would define as a dress, even it if is vaguely dress-shaped. Putting aside the question of whether this could even be considered a frock, we’re baffled by the decision to put the “waist” of the skirt just under her boobs. There’s not a lot you could tweak about this design to make it more acceptable to us, but if the skirt hit at her actual waist, it would at east look slightly less clumsy than this. We give her credit for working the hell out of it, but it’s just not a good design. Believe it or not, it’s still much better than the runway version:
