The stars of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever hit the London premiere red carpet in some of their best looks yet on this promo tour. Most of them, anyway. A few disappointed us. Scroll down to see how everyone did.

Danai Gurira in Elie Saab Couture

She is stunning and she’s doing much better with this silly-fussy design than it deserves. We can understand wanting a little coverage, but wearing a massive wrap with a dress like this comes close to defeating the whole purpose of a dress like this. We’re also not crazy about the thick band of trim on the skirt.

Florence Kasumba

This is absolutely stunning. We’re going to be extremely nerdy and suggest that this would have been a killer dress for any of the MCU actresses to wear while promoting Avengers: Infinity War, but we don’t blame Florence for snagging it anyway. It’s a simple design with a ridiculously high impact.

Letitia Wright in Prada

Extremely chic. She’s been crushing it on this tour.

Lupita Nyong’o in Alexander McQueen

Huzzah and Hallelujah, she’s back. We haven’t hated her style choices on this promo tour, but we haven’t been completely in love with them either. This is absolutely gorgeous and the hair tiara is simply stunning work.

Martin Freeman

It’s a perfectly lovely suit and we appreciate him putting in the effort, knowing that he was about to be outshone by pretty much every other cast member.

Michaela Coel in Tisci

While we think she has the ability to make anything look dramatic just by putting it on, even she can’t stop this from looking like a swatch of fabric tied around a body suit.

Tenoch Huerta

This is terrible, we’re sorry to say. First, that beige is a terrible color for him and makes him look sallow. Second, the cut and proportions add about fifty pounds to him. Third, the footwear is awful. This is not your look, sir.

Winston Duke

This is almost great, but the pants are too full and both the cuffs and the waistband of that jacket look stretched out. We realize they’re probably not, but the proportions of the design just don’t work. Could’ve been a killer look if everything was fitted just a little better.
