Since we’re rather light on actual red carpet coverage today, we thought we’d take one of the few red carpet appearances of the last 24 hours worth discussing and, well… invite you to discuss it. Lashana Lynch took a break from promoting The Woman King to step out for the premiere of a very different sort of project of hers, Matilda the Musical. She chose a fun, bright, colorful frock for the occasion.
Our first reaction is to say that we love it and we wish there were more of it. The colors look great on her, which makes us think a longer skirt and maybe even some sleeves would’ve made for improvements on it. Not that it absolutely needs to be improved, but it does feel like it doesn’t quite get over the finish line as an outfit. Her head styling looks great but maybe it could’ve used some showier jewelry around the neck and wrists? Discuss all of this amongst yourselves and then answer the following age-old question:
