Jodie Turner-Smith has got it covered, literally. What a spectacular red carpet moment. Christopher John Rogers is a master designer whose fashion has universal appeal, but it’s clearly designed with Black women in mind as its best wearer. Of course a million different women would look stunning in this gown, but the effect of that textile is increased ten fold by a dark-skinned wearer. That choker almost tips over into being too much with the gown, but as we noted before, “too much” is absolutely her drag and she’s great at working it.
