You guys, New York City is positively swarming with cops and law-and-order types this week. And they’re all unusually attractive!
Camilla Belle and Christopher Meloni – Law and Order: Organized Crime
We don’t necessarily have a point here. It just struck us as a bit funny that there are so many cop or cop-adjacent shows shooting on the streets of New York this week. Chris is wearing a very nice jacket, but for the most part, we’re not here to rate the costumes or anything.
Dylan McDermott – FBI: Most Wanted
After all, none of these shows are known for being fashion showcases. The entire genre of law-and-order type TV shows spanning the last half-century has maybe a half-dozen examples that could be considered stylish or fashionable.
Marisa Ramirez and Donnie Wahlberg – Blue Bloods
To be fair, any New York cop show would look pretty silly if the leads were dressed like magazine covers. It’s not like New York cops are known for their sartorial adventures.
Hugh Dancy and Odelya Halevi – Law & Order
Still, it must get a little boring going to work every day and putting on another colorless, generic costume, even if it does make sense for your character.
Queen Latifah – The Equalizer
But it’s always fun to watch Queen Latifah beating the shit out of someone while sporting a cute coat and killer kicks, right? Now that’s what we call entertainment.
