The Duchess of Cambridge hosted a garden party in celebration of the Queen’s Jubilee at Buckingham Palace, along with royal co-stars the Earl and Countess of Wessex. To mark the occasion, she turned the royal fashion doll dials up to eleven.

It’s giving Princess Barbie realness and we can’t be too mad at it. The color looks spectacular on her and she’s putting on exactly the kind of royal fashion show the crowds would want to see. As per the usual, she takes her style directives from the Queen herself, executing her usual tactic of wearing a brilliant color, head to toe, so she can be seen from as far away as possible. It’s not fashion forward, it’s not unexpected and it’s not even all that interesting if we’re being blunt. But it’s as on point as royal fashion gets. It’s pretty much a uniform at this point.
