Miss Olivia, welcome to your first Grammys red carpet. We didn’t like your dress. There. Ripped off the band-aid. It’s better that way, dear.
Personally, we’re not feeling the trompe l’oeil, but that’s partially because we like bragging about how we can spell it correctly on the first try. It’s also because we just don’t like it as a fashion element and we have a particular loathing of the “outline of a skinnier person” kind. But putting that aside, the bust is too tight and black satin doesn’t photograph well except at Halloween parties. We can’t say we loved the chokers or the gloves, but we can admit they’re well chosen for the dress. The style hasn’t let her down, just a few of the details.
