It’s pretty cute. We love the stiletto knee-high boots paired with sheer hose, which is a pure throwback style we haven’t seen in decades. We don’t love the mismatched top. Granted, we wouldn’t have wanted a matchy one either, but the slight discordance between the two patterns (which look like reverses of the same textile) is not enough to be interesting and just enough to be a little visually annoying. A plain black top probably would’ve looked a little too retro with this, but we’re hard pressed coming up with an alternative. We’d have told her to keep the jacket and the boots and build a less matchy look around them, but that’s just us.
