If you’re wondering why the star of an American basic cable show is hitting all the Paris couture shows, all you have to do is look at the results. Riverdale star Madelaine Petsch has been doing nothing but serving jaw-droppers all week. That’s how you justify your front row seat, after all. Your girl (and her stylist Rob Zangardi) knows what she’s doing.

All of her looks this week tended toward really bold colors and prints, all of which suited her really well. This actually looks better on her than it did on the runway model (see below). We’re not sure about the shoe color, though. Granted, it’s a perfect match to her hair, but they don’t look right with that bold green.

It’s kind of funny. We can point to practically every element of this look and declare our dislike for it, but the overall effect is to our liking. We don’t love the color story or the print, think the elbow-length gloves and thigh-highs are a bit too much when worn together, and don’t much like the hairstyle. And yet, we think she looks great somehow making it all work for her.

This is our favorite. The colors look fantastic on her (Zangardi really knows how to play up her hair color) and we love that the runway thigh-highs were switched out for these boots, which provide a little more of a feeling of unity to the look. Don’t love the wrist pack, but a girl’s gotta wear the label if she wants to get in the front door.
