Hannah Waddingham exuberantly picked up her Emmys trophy for her work on Ted Lasso. We can’t say we were surprised, but if you’d told us five years ago that the Game of Thrones Shame Nun would win an Emmy and look like a goddess doing it, we wouldn’t have believed it. Fortunately, Hannah snagged a role that showcased her range of talent a little better and for the victory lap, she snagged a designer who simply wouldn’t fail to do right by her.
What do you make for a woman who practically embodies the word “statuesque?” A gown that makes her look like a Greek statue, of course.
It’s a little tight in the bust, but that’s the only quibble we have. She looks absolutely stunning. The design itself is somewhat standard for an awards show gown, but it could not be more well-suited to her. That soft coral pink looks fantastic on her.
