It feels kind of redundant and pointless to state the obvious, but Zendaya and super-stylist Law Roach have done it once again. It might seem a too-obvious choice to come to the Space Jam 2 premiere cosplaying as your character Lola Bunny, but if you can do it AND make it fashion at the same time, well why not?
We’re usually not big fans of stars coming to their premieres dressed like their characters. We think genre-appropriate red carpet style (gowns and chic elegance for prestige awards tracks films, bold colors for superhero films, etc) can often be a good idea as a method of branding and making star indistinguishable from the product they’re selling. But this is more homage than true cosplay (since she’s not actually in a bunny fursuit, for one) and let’s face it: she just looks spectacular. Our only quibble? We don’t get the white pumps.
