Thank you to these stars for stepping up and showing up. We suppose when things are fully back to normal, we’ll return to the usual “You failed to rate a spotlight post so try harder” finger-wagging at them, but we’re still just happy to see them giving it a shot, even if they’re posing in someone’s backyard and you figure the recycling bin is just out of camera range. Having said that, we’re still going to judge their efforts, of course. We’re grateful, but we’re still as God made us, darlings.
Annie Murphy in The Row
Her hair and makeup are gorgeous, but that is a mechanic’s jumpsuit.
Carla Gugino in Ronny Kobo
Love the skirt, but it feels like it needs a print blouse. She doesn’t look particularly comfortable in that crop top.
Chelsea Lopez in Shuting Qiu
Well, you can’t say she didn’t go for it. We know this is too cray to love, but God help us, we think we love it anyway. Look, we’ve all been stuck inside for a year. We just can’t get too worked up if someone wants to dress a little ridiculous. Go for it, girl.
Gabrielle Union in Sammy B
This lady has such a talent for making pajamas and loungewear look party-ready and magazine cover chic.
Jenna Coleman in Dior
Hmm. We want to like it, but that’s a tough plaid and a tough cut to pull off. Loud and blocky.
Joshua Jackson in Gucci
Every part of this works except for those awful pants. We realize people might want more relaxed fits at the moment, but these blocky cuts are so unflattering. Love the kicks.
Krysta Rodriguez in Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini
It almost feels like she’s trying to get as far away as possible from any style that might remind people of Liza after her buzzy performance as the icon in Halston. We might be convinced on the jacket/dress combo, but not with those awful shoes.
Leslie Grace in Versace
Really cute dress. We love the shoes, but we’re not sure they actually go with it all that well. Seems like they’d be for a more formal sort of look.
Rita Ora in Fendi
The coat’s nice, but we reserve the right to call anyone wearing sheer pants a total fashion victim. Come on, girl. Say no when they offer you the silly stuff.
Shira Haas in Miu Miu
Not sure about the shoes (which seems to be the theme of this week’s Leftover’s post), but the outfit is really cute and perfectly suited to her.
