Olivia Welch Promotes “Panic” in Tory Burch and Missoni

Olivia Welch has several projects coming up (the Amazon Prime series Panic and the Netflix film series Fear Street) that should give her plenty of opportunities to show off her celebrity style all summer long. We’re happy to report that she’s coming out of the gate strong and establishing her brand for now.

This is cute, but perhaps a bit too literally retro, to the point that it could pass for vintage. Looking at the look book shot below, we think the footwear choice here is letting this outfit down. Sandals would’ve given it all a lighter feel.

This, on the other hand, is great. If she’s going for the throwback styles, she should stick closer to this sort of Lady of the Canyon realness. It suits her. The braids are really cute. We think we’ve typed the word “braid” more times in the last months than in the previous five years. They’re super-hot all of a sudden.

The first one’s a big ol’ no (we’re not the demo), but the second looks fun.
