Kittens, we got all “let’s muse” and “let’s have an enlightening encounter session” this week, prompted by a bunch of seemingly un-related events. What can we say? We’re scatterbrained and we’ve made a career out of mining that for money.

First up, a discussion about what we’ve learned over the past year of lockdown and whether we think you should even try to take away any lessons from it. One of us wants to linger on what we’ve all gone through and one of us is rushing full-bore for the exit, lessons be damned. Is either of us taking the wrong approach? Join us on a navel-gazing journey as we talk about what that ever-expanding light at the end of that tunnel really means; personally, socially, politically and culturally.

Then, it’s another deep dive into the stupid world of social media as we take a look at Chrissy Teigen’s exit, Cinnamon Toast Shrimp dude, Milkshake Duck and why we think we’re relatively immune to most of the nonsense that happens on social media. It’s a little lesson from two independent media figures who grew into their jobs using social media as a tool and have learned how to navigate it with a set of HIGHLY critical eyes.
