Yes, it’s a D&G jacket and they’re a couple of shitheads, but that is just about the cutest day look a gal could put together for herself. Putting a tweed jacket together with a pair of jeans is certainly not reinventing any wheels. In fact, it’s so standard a day look that we were imploring no less than the Duchess of Cambridge to give it a whirl just last week.

The heavy black trim gives the jacket a bit of a modern feel so it doesn’t look like something she borrowed from her grandmother. The boots make the perfect accompaniment to it. It’s just a really well-done look that’s kind of classic but still feels fresh if you do it right. Love the eye makeup.
