Miss Priyanka has a pretty intense-looking movie out, which means it’s time for some sunny, bright promo style. But she’s not just co-starring in the film, she’s the executive producer, which means it’s also time to consider looks that don’t dive too deeply into “starlet” mode. It’s just bold and eye-catching enough to serve as actress-wear, but it’s as classic as a women’s suit can get, giving it a slightly more important if not business-like tone. It occurs to us now that it’s probably not a terrible idea for actress-directors or actress-producers to look to more FLOTUS-like styles if they’re stuck on how to straddle those lines. Threading that needle on head-turning fashion and a sort of stately comportment is a pretty classic First Lady move.

Anyway, she looks great, the film looks intense, and we sincerely hope she didn’t wear white knee-high socks with it.
