Proof that nature is healing: A celebrity lady is stepping out (so to speak) in the (more or less) same dress recently worn by a completely different celebrity lady while she was stepping out (so to speak) – in the same month, even. This is an enormous development in the celebrity fashion sphere because we just haven’t seen this phenomenon much in 2020, what with all the hunkering down and such.
Anyway, Emily Blunt wore a version of this Celine dress a couple of weeks ago, which means we are duty-bound by the blogging guild to pit them against each other in a style cage match to the death in order to answer the question of who wore it best. But we’re too tired so we won’t.
She looks cute. It’s a hard dress to screw up, which would explain why we’re seeing it again. In a normal December, as awards season was ramping up, this frock would be bouncing all around the A-list set, showing up on talk shows, sidewalks and photo calls left and right.
Lily’s more suited to the ruffled version and Emily’s more suited to the pussy bow version, so each version wound up on the right wearer, it would seem. Like we said: nature is healing.
