Kittens, two very different women wielded the trappings of wealth in two very different ways this week and the outcry against both of them was illuminating and shows how much the sands are shifting in the worlds of celebrity culture and politics.
First, political superstar Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez had the nerve to allow herself to be interviewed and photographed for Vanity Fair magazine.

To no one’s surprise, folks got all het up over it, choosing to focus on the dollar value of the borrowed fashion pieces she wore for the photo shoot.

Next, Kim Kardashian got back on her bullshit again:
