Kittens, we’re gonna need a ruling on this one.
It’s boldly dramatic, which is definitely the kind of thing she needs in her red carpet style. It’s also slightly offbeat, which is another thing she needs, in our opinion. But our imaginary advice to her has always been along the lines of imploring her go for sleek lines and retro-tinged, structured looks in the Joan Crawford mode. Big, dramatic silhouettes weren’t really what we had in mind. And the longer we look at that bodice, the stranger it comes across to us. It looks almost like she has some sort of weird bib on over a strapless gown. And the back hangs off her somewhat oddly. But despite our quibbles, we think we… mostly… like this? We don’t know, you guys… a hot pink velvet skirt is a lot to ask of us. Which is why we’re asking you:
