Once again, Gwendoline took a copy of The Rules for Dressing if You’re A Larger-Than-Average Lady and promptly set it on fire before backing over it with a tractor, and after dousing it in acid, followed by a trip to an active volcano wherein she flung the remains with a maniacal laugh while standing on the edge, her massive skirt billowing in the heat and flames. Or maybe we’re overstating things a bit.
Naah. She’s a hero. A hero who probably has a pair of sweatpants on underneath all that. A hero without any shapewear on.
Is it pretty? No, not in the conventional sense. It’s not that we think this dress is fabulous or chic, but it’s dramatic as hell and as a statement or declaration, it just can’t be beat.
