This thing you’re doing? Where every piece of clothing you’re wearing is in the same neutral tone? Which you then cap off (so to speak) with an incongruous and distracting pair of shoes with slightly fussy undertones? That. You need to stop doing that. It just looks weird in pictures and on screen.
Admittedly, charm covers a lot of sartorial sins.
