You may be asking yourself right now “What on earth is the Baby2Baby Gala?” And we’re here to use our expertise to let you know: It’s a thing! With celebrities! Wearing fashion!
Ali Wong in Marc Jacobs
Oof. Sorry, but it’s not working for us. The print looks dated and that thing eating her arm is weird, not to mention entirely unnecessary.
Chrissy Teigen in Georges Hobeika Couture
Better than the sum of its parts. The color looks great on her and the sweep/drama factor is in place, but the design of the bust is a little weird.
Gina Rodriguez in Zuhair Murad
The prairie dress trend is morphing – as we all knew it would eventually – into a series of Coalminer’s Daughter looks. This is just a bit too “Country Music Awards ’74” for us.
Jennifer Garner in Prada
Prada did you wrong, gurl.
John Legend
It’s a good color, but he really needs to go up a bit in the sizing. Everything has been too small on him lately.
Kate Hudson in Prada
The gown is perfect Hollywood Glam, to which she’s extremely well-suited, but the choker doesn’t really go with it.
Katy Perry in Prada
That “melting boob” effect is not cute, Katy.
Kirsten Dunst in Prada
She looks great in this, although it feels a bit heavy and serious for a red carpet event.
Kelly Rowland in Nicole + Felicia
It’s not reinventing the wheel but it’s not getting anything wrong either. It helps that she’s really well suited to big draggy looks.
Mindy Kaling in Oscar de la Renta
We like the floral embellishments, but something about this looks a little too much like priest vestments. We think the floral needs to be a bit more random, the sleeves need to be rethought completely, and the entire thing needs to be in a richer, darker color.
Olivia Munn in Yanina Couture
Bridal.
