This couldn’t be more perfect coming directly on the heels of that Cathy Cambridge post. We noted there that many traditional western dress shapes don’t pair well with pants and here comes Miss Z, breaking those traditions. Kudos to her for making such an unusual choice. This doesn’t look easy to wear. There are a lot of elements that have to be just so in order to make for a good red carpet picture. We love the look overall, but the jacket’s stuck in the belt (which is likely to happen when you pair a bolero with a big-ass belt) and the gigantic cuff on the pants is unnecessary and tips the look over into being too much at once. Hem those pants and honestly, just ditch the jacket entirely.
