This is going to sound terribly backhanded but wow, these two ladies really nailed it this time. You’ll have to forgive us, but they each have a long reputation for questionable red carpetry. Turns out, the best thing each of them could have done is the same thing everyone who wants to achieve good style needs to learn to do: Lean into what works best. In Sienna’s case, it’s embracing a more glam kind of look rather than the boho she’s always favored. For Christina, it means a public embrace of her long-stated love of caftans instead of worrying about the unhelpful proportions or sizing issues of modern high fashion. The results are simply great:

We’re going to suggest that Sienna’s shoes aren’t the best, most well-matched choice to be made, but aside from that, one of the biggest reasons why these looks work for them – aside from their clear suitability to them – is how well put-together they are. Sienna’s hair, makeup and earrings are perfect. Christina’s bag, hair and shoes are also perfect – and she doesn’t always get those last two right. Well done all around.
Alrighty, then. That looks intense as fuck.
