This always happens. We spend years whining about someone’s style rut, they make a change, and we wind up not actually loving the change all that much.
Mrs. Cathy gave up her signature belted coat dress for a … what would you call that thing, anyway? A coat jumper? Whatever it is, we can’t say we’re all that nuts about it. It looks awkward and itchy. We do appreciate the switchup in her silhouette, which makes for a nice change of pace, but the garment itself – including the slightly garish shade of green – doesn’t really set us on fire.
The booties are super-cute, though.
