That is a skirt that demands you come to terms with it, darlings. We’d like to say we like it, but it honestly looks a little awkward as part of this outfit. It’s possible some more judicious styling is what’s needed here. It seems lately we’re seeing a lot of all-black outfits with one obnoxiously bright or focus-pulling detail. And while we’d never say that’s the absolute wrong thing to do, we can’t help thinking a skirt like this would marry to a more colorful ensemble a bit better than it does to this colorless one. It just looks like a skirt on a mannequin. Give her a top and a coat in richer, bolder, complementary colors and that thing might have worked, but it’s not really selling itself with these items.
