We were so taken by Good Lady Cate’s breastjewels that it was actually several minutes before we even noticed she’d gone brunette. We’ll get to that in a second. First, we have a pressing question.
If you match up three of the breastjewels, does her dress disappear?
It’s an okay look, which feels like a bit of a disappointing thing to say about a Good Lady Cate ensemble. The dress is exceedingly plain except for that one fairly overwhelming feature. Does a spray of fake gemstones over a the simplest of frocks make for a chic look? We’re gonna lean towards “No” on that one. We want to say that this dress needs something more, but that’s not quite it. It’s got a lot. It’s just that it’s all concentrated on one element. We guess in the end we find the design more than a bit unbalanced. And this is probably a weird thing to focus on, but the black pumps feel like she gave up on trying to make this look more interesting.
We assume the hair’s for a role. It’s a great shade for her, but we think the blonde suits her better.
