Duchess Megs surprised us by stepping out to visit some of her favorite types of people in the world: theater folk. We figured she was done with any public appearances until after her blessed event takes place.
Hm.
Of course we wish she’d worn a richer color, but we’ll forego that whine just this once. These shots aren’t showing the color as effectively as the videos taken of the event, which depict this with a bit more of a pink undertone to it. Such is the case with the Duchess’s color choices. They’re so subtle that you can’t even tell the color.
Anyway, this is kind of cute. The swing of the skirt and the lacing on the shoe help give it a little style and personality. She seems determined to avoid maternity wear at all costs, so she’s stuck in another dress that’s pulling and wrinkling quite a bit more than it should. But nitpicks aside, she looks fresh and pretty here.
